The history of Middle Eastern Cuisine can be divided into 4 branches and at Mamounia you can enjoy them all. Iranian, the haute cuisine of the Middle East and the most exquisite. Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan, known as the fertile Crescent, with a rich variety and quality of vegetables and fruits. Turkish cooking, which has influenced most countries abroad due to the vast expanse of the Ottoman empire. Lastly, Moroccan cuisine ,based on the original Berbers, echoes of Spain and Portugal, famous for its couscous, multilayered pies and delicately flavoured tagines.
