In 1988, Mr. Carecci Salvatore humbly started Pasta Fresca Da Salvatore with only three tables, selling freshly made pastas produced in a small unit at Royalville, Bukit Timah Road. It was opened with the idea of only sampling freshly made pastas. However, the dishes became a popular demand and more tables were added to meet the frequency of the customers. That became an idea for Mr Carecci to convert it to a restaurant which became its first outlet. He decided to move its production to another premise in Pandan Loop. That changes its concept of a small eatery to become a full pledge Italian restaurant famous for its customized pastas and sauces.
The prodigy of Pasta Fresca Da Salvatore rapidly expanded its business, and to this day, has six outlets located at Bukit Timah, Boat Quay, Siglap, Cuppage Terrace, Tanjong Katong and Rochester Mall.
Pasta Fresca Da Salvatore also provides Catering for occasions like birthday parties, corporate and private events, festive celebrations, weddings, etc.
In early 1993, Mr Carecci successfully ventured into Shanghai and opened a few outlets in Hong Mei Lu, Heng Shan Lu and Fang Dian Lu (Pudong). It also has its first franchise outlet in Tianjin. All the restaurants are fully owned and managed under the brand name of Pasta Fresca Da Salvatore.
