Magma provides you with an authentic touch of Germany: German cuisine, wine, beer and other drinks and German music and culture.
The cuisine offers a broad range of regional German dishes. Beside the familiar pork knuckles and sausages there are many unknown, but delicious dishes and exquisite desserts. Do not hesitate to ask, if you cannot find your favorite on the menu. The well experienced German Head Chef and German Kitchen Master have an open ear for your wishes!
The wines come from all 13 wine regions of Germany. They provide you with the best of each region and represent 30 wineries almost exclusively in Asia. The wine selection is one of the best you can find outside of Germany.
You may be surprised to find a German restaurant in an old Chinese shophouse. Magma opened here in August 2006, kept the structure of the building and even removed the false ceiling, so that the spirit of old Chinatown merge with the new bistro. With an open kitchen concept you can watch how the food is freshly prepared for you.
Magma frequently offers wine tastings where you can learn about the grape varieties, the wine regions and the wineries. If you are not a wine lover (yet), they also offer a choice of eleven German beers, organic juices, excellent coffee/tea and other beverages.
